Profile Manager for Ecamm. Your profiles, under control.

Ecamm is built for producing your show. This app adds a focused layer on top: sorting profiles, seeing what each show really weighs, bulk deleting, safely clearing out the overlays and sounds only that profile uses, and backing up your setup across machines.

Sort · Clean up · Back up · Reclaim gigabytes of asset space

What you get
🎛️
Every profile, at a glance
Sortable by name, size, or last modified date
🖼️
Overlay & sounds scanner
See every asset a profile needs, and if it's missing
🧹
Reclaim gigabytes, safely

Apple-notarized · No warnings

A few gaps this app fills for Ecamm users.

  • Sort profiles by size, name, or date instead of scrolling a flat list
  • Bulk delete — select several profiles and remove them in one go
  • See exactly which overlays and sounds a profile depends on
  • Know an asset is missing before you go live, not after
  • See how many megabytes of overlays and sounds each profile really carries
  • Reclaim the space: deleting a profile can safely take its unshared assets with it
  • Backup and restore across Macs if you run Ecamm on more than one machine

"Ecamm answers how do I build a show?"

This app answers "what's actually in my setup, and is it all still there?" — a clean, purpose-built view that sits alongside Ecamm's own interface.

Tired of scrolling through a long list of profiles?

Whether you're a power user juggling dozens of show setups or just someone who likes a tidy workspace, this app adds a layer of profile management alongside Ecamm.

Sort. Delete. Back up. All under control.

Everything you need to manage your Ecamm profiles properly.

🎛️
Every profile, at a glance
See every Ecamm profile on your system in one clean list — sortable by name, file size, or last modified date.
📐
Know your profile type instantly
Single canvas or dual mode (desktop + mobile) — the app identifies it clearly, no guesswork.
📊
The true size of every show
Every profile shows its own file size and the total size of the overlays and sounds it uses, right in the list.
🗑️
Delete with precision
Select one profile, a handful, or all of them and delete in one go — no one-by-one hunting.
💾
Backup and restore across Macs
Back up all profiles in one click, or archive selected shows complete with their assets, and restore them on any Mac. Missing files are filled in, existing ones never touched.
🧹
Asset cleanup that knows what's shared
Delete a profile and the app can take its overlays and sounds with it. Anything another profile still uses is automatically kept.
🛟
Everything goes to the Trash
Profiles and assets are moved to the macOS Trash, never hard-deleted. Change your mind? Put them straight back.
A neon interface built for show people
Version 2.0 brings a completely redesigned interface: stat tiles, clean card lists, and delete confirmations that spell out exactly what happens.
🔐
Notarized & digitally signed by Apple
Verified, approved, and signed with a Developer ID certificate. No Gatekeeper warnings.

Delete a show, reclaim its space.

Ecamm keeps every profile's overlays and sounds in one shared library, so a 5 MB profile can quietly own hundreds of megabytes of media. When you delete a profile, Profile Manager for Ecamm works out which of those files no other profile uses, and offers to move them to the Trash too. Shared files are always kept, and the confirmation tells you exactly what will happen before anything moves.

Know before you go live.

The app scans inside each profile and extracts every overlay and sound file it references — images, videos, and audio — showing you the filename, full path, and whether the file still exists on your Mac.

Scan the profile
The app reads the profile's binary plist and extracts every referenced asset
02
See every overlay and sound
Grouped by type — image, video, audio — with the full file path

FILE MISSING
Note: Missing an asset? The app tells you before your stream does — with a one-click Reveal in Finder to track it down. And every asset now shows its file size, per file, per type, and per profile.

Common questions.

Does this replace Ecamm?

No. Profile Manager for Ecamm is a companion app — it manages the profiles Ecamm creates, but you still build and run your shows in Ecamm itself.

What does the overlay & sounds scanner actually check?

It reads inside each profile's data and extracts every image, video, and audio file it references, then checks whether each file still exists on disk. Missing files are flagged immediately.

Can I back up profiles from one Mac and restore on another?

Yes — and a selected-profile backup carries the show's overlays and sounds with it, stored in Ecamm's own folder layout. Copy the folder to the other Mac, restore, and the profile arrives with everything it needs. Missing assets are filled in; existing files are never overwritten.

Will I get security warnings when I open it?

No. The app is fully notarized and signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate — it opens straight away with no Gatekeeper warnings.

Can I delete more than one profile at a time?

Yes — select any number of profiles, including all of them, and delete in a single action.

Does it work with both single canvas and dual mode profiles?

Yes — the app identifies and displays the profile type automatically for every profile it finds.

Is deleting a profile's assets safe?

Yes. Before anything moves, the app checks every other profile on your Mac. An asset is only offered for deletion when no other profile uses it — shared overlays and sounds are always kept, and the confirmation tells you how many were protected.

What if I delete something by mistake?

Profiles and assets are moved to the macOS Trash, never permanently erased. Open the Trash, right-click, and Put Back restores them exactly where they were.

A new icon, and small things fixed properly.

2.0.2 brings the new app icon above. Before it, 2.0.1 landed four refinements from real use on a library of 53 profiles. If you already own the app, it updates itself.

☑️
Checkboxes you can actually hit
Selecting a profile now works anywhere on the checkbox, not just on its thin outline.
📌
Bulk actions come to you
Back Up and Delete rise into a bar the moment you select something, with the number of profiles and their combined size right there. No scrolling to the end of a long list to act on them.
🔎
Backups own up to what is missing
If a show points at a file that has since been moved or deleted, the backup notes name it rather than quietly leaving it out. Restore that show on another Mac and you know exactly what to go and find.
🔢
A delete count you can trust
The number of shared assets being kept now counts only files that are really on your Mac, so what you are told matches what is preserved.
