It’s the question people are almost embarrassed to ask, so let me answer it plainly: what does monthly live event production support actually cost?

The market, honestly
Ongoing production support generally falls into three bands:
- Freelancer per-event (roughly $150–$500 per show): fine for one-offs, but you re-brief someone every time, quality varies, and nobody owns your system between events.
- Production agencies ($3,000–$10,000+ per month): built for corporate events teams with big budgets and big committees. Overkill for an individual expert or a small practice.
- A dedicated production partner ($500–$2,000 per month): the middle path — one person who knows your setup, runs your events, and improves the system every month.
What I charge
My Production Partnership runs $500–$2,000 per month depending on scope, agreed monthly, with no long-term lock-in — 30 days’ notice to pause or end. Most clients land in the middle of that range.
What that buys, concretely: I run the control room for your live events — scenes, audio, graphics, guest wrangling, the works — plus podcast recording support, video production, publishing to your platforms, and clips for social. You present; I make sure everything behind the camera behaves.
The build-first caveat
A production partner is most valuable once your system is worth operating. If your setup itself is the problem, fix that first — that’s a one-time build (my Authority OS Implementation, $2,450), not a monthly fee. I’d rather build you something so reliable you barely need me monthly than charge you to babysit a fragile setup.
How to decide
Ask yourself two questions. How many live events a month? (One or two: per-event help might do. Weekly or client-facing: a partner pays for itself in removed risk alone.) And what does a failure cost you? If a broken webinar in front of clients costs you credibility with people paying you thousands, $750 a month is not the expensive option.
